I am going to make everything around me beautiful —

that will be my life.

Areas of Expertise

Photography.

Photography is a wonderful and important means of communication. Communicating a scene or an emotion in photography is often more important than words. In today’s image-rich culture, people are making the judgement emotionally before actually reading supporting pieces.

I am a skilled photographer with extensive real-world experience in a huge array of environments with hundreds of satisfied and loyal clients.

Communication design.

Communication design is a mixed discipline between design and information-development — which is concerned with how media intervention such as printed, crafted, electronic media or presentations communicate with people. It goes above and beyond to convey information in an aesthetically pleasing and visually engaging way.

Through marketing and design for my own studio, I have been able to develop my skills to create more effective and convincing imagery and infographics.

Think of it this way… which would you rather see?

  • A textual description of a chemical process

    or

  • A video or pictorial representation of that chemical process

Digital Design.

Graphic design is an important tool that enhances how you communicate with other people. It serves to convey your ideas in a way that is not only effective, but also beautiful.

I am skilled in electronic imaging and design. I have created logos and print pieces for businesses using the suite of Adobe applications and often incorporating traditional pieces such as watercolor and hand lettering.

Art Direction.

It all begins with an idea. Art direction brings clarity and definition to our work; it helps our work convey a specific message to a particular group of people. It solidifies the relationship between the emotion and the media and process used to convey the messaging.

I have been effective in creating the overall design for a campaigns and projects throughout my 10+ years as the leader of W the Studio. I started with challenging the boundaries of traditional headshot photography and have since evolved into creating full branding images. I have successfully directed others who develop artwork or layouts based on my initial pieces and strategy for clients.
